Classic American Hash Browns Recipe Perfect Crispy Brunch

Easy American Breakfast Hash Recipe – what do you need ?
  • 1 large potato, peeled and diced
  • 1 large oranae-fleshed kumara, peeled and dicec
  • 1-2 tsp cumin seeds or ground cumin
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper to season
  • 340 gram can Hellaby’s Reduced Fat Corned Beef chilled
  • 4 spring onions, trimmed and chopped 4 eggs
  • 4 large tomatoes, halved, or 8 small tomatoes
  • 2 Table spoon finely chopped gherkins

 

Lets Get Started

1. In a moderately hot frying pan toss the potato and kumara cubes in a little oil with the cumin and a good seasoning of salt and pepper. Gently pan-fry until golden and tender

2. Dice the corned beef into 2 cm pieces and add with the spring onions to the pan. Cook gentlyfor 4-5 minutes until very hot.

3 . Poach the eggs and grill the tomatoes.

4. Serve the hash sprinkled with gherkins and parsley, topped with a poached egg and accompanied by grilled tomatoes.
